What do you love most about CHS?
Students are not content with simple, rote answers. They want to know as many caveats as possible, and they seek to engage issues from multiple perspectives. It challenges me to be a great listener and learner.
What one word would you use to describe CHS?
Connected - CHS connects students with other students, with faculty, and with the community around us.
How are faith and learning integrated at CHS?
CHS recognizes that faith and learning are not in competition. Every great scientist has to lean on faith. Every step we take is a belief in the law of gravity. At CHS we don't push a blind faith but rather a faith seeking understanding.
What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?
Connecting the head with the heart.
How would you describe CHS students?
CHS students are not markedly different than any other student. They long for significance, understanding, and identity. What is different is that CHS seeks to serve the WHOLE person. Students at CHS are encouraged to develop values that will serve them far beyond the classroom--service, teamwork, excellence.
