Thank you for your interest in Christian Heritage School. We are a private, K-12, college-preparatory, interdenominational day school that serves students and their families in Southern Connecticut. It is our desire to partner with parents in fulfilling their God-given responsibility to teach their children that "In (Christ) are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Col. 2:3) and to provide our students with an education of spiritual and academic excellence with which to serve God.

Substitute Teachers

Substitute Teachers: Lower & Upper School

Seeking substitute teachers who will be responsible for operating a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment while the regular teacher is absent. They will follow the teacher’s lesson plans and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to function as mature, responsible Christians in accordance with the school mission statement.

Part-Time Christian Counselor K-12
Seeking a Christian Counselor committed to supporting students’ social and emotional needs, with a heart for serving students with a Christ-like spirit. As advocates for students, will promote a positive environment that enhances students’ ability to properly manage the social/emotional demands of their lives. 
 
Part-Time Educational Assistant: Lower School

Seeking an Educational Assistant to support teachers throughout their daily classroom activities inside and outside the classroom. Duties include helping schedule and implement programs in accordance with the curriculum as well as general classroom and clerical duties such as maintaining a clean and safe environment or printing and preparing educational material.

Athletics

Coaches
We consider athletics to be an extension of our classrooms, as well as an opportunity to influence sports culture for Christ. Qualifications include the ability to connect well with student-athletes, be competent in the sport and maintain strong character and commitment for this level of coaching.
Coach Job Requirements
  • Be able to communicate a Christian-view of athletics
  • Know and understand the skills and techniques of the sport
  • Can effectively teach and communicate skills and techniques to student athletes
  • Must provide current background check
