Thank you for your interest in Christian Heritage School. We are a private, K-12, college-preparatory, interdenominational day school that serves students and their families in Southern Connecticut. Position Summary

The new Head of School will be a strong manager and spiritual shepherd who loves Christian education and demonstrates servant leadership. The Head of School is charged with carrying out all aspects of the school’s stated mission, purposes, educational objectives and policies, and to guard its Statement of Faith without compromise. As the chief executive and operating officer, the Head of School is appointed by, and ultimately responsible to, the Board of Trustees--providing executive oversight for all academic, financial, facilities, development, and personnel matters of Christian Heritage School. The Head of School will faithfully promote the school's distinctly Christian approach to education, shepherding the faculty and staff as they deliver the educational and spiritual mission of the school.

Part-Time Mandarin Upper School Teacher

CHS is seeking a part-time teacher who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and who has experience working with students in grades 7-12. This position would involve teaching students already progressing forward in their knowledge of the language. 

Applicants must be dynamic individuals who are passionate about their discipline, collaborative and innovative in their approach to teaching, who embrace and support the mission of the school, and a passion to pursue their relationship with God. CHS provides a rigorous academic program that stretches our students to reach the potential that God has instilled in them.

  • Ability to coach athletic teams or lead co-curricular activities desired
