Dear Parents,
The following are announcements and upcoming events:
TOMORROW! Don’t miss the…FALL FESTIVAL!
The senior class sponsored Fall Festival will be held tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9:30am to 3:00pm. It’s going to be a cold day and all activities have been moved inside! This is the main fundraiser for our senior class and will help offset the cost of the senior trip to Florida in the spring. Invite your friends… the Fall Festival is open to the entire community! There will be a variety of games, activities, and lots of food! Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students/children. Game tickets are 4 for $1.00.
We also have some class competitions to get kids excited about coming. ICE CREAM SOCIALS will be held in the barn for the class in grades K-5 and in grades 6-8 with the highest percentage of students attending the festival! Students in grades 9-12 with greatest class participation will get a DRESS DOWN DAY on Thursday, Oct. 22!
Come out and support the class of 2010!

VETERANS’ DAY
Please plan to attend our annual Veterans’ Day assembly! This is a special program set aside to honor veterans past and present who are associated with our CHS community. The assembly will take place on November 10 at 9:30am in the CHS gymnasium for grades K-12 and parents who wish to attend. Please invite veterans who are part of your family as well as veterans you may know from your church or neighborhood. We would like to honor as many veterans as possible!
We would like to include veterans who are family members of the CHS community in our written program. In order to do this we need brief bio and a photo (if available). Attached is a form to complete to include your family member in our program. Today, Friday, Oct. 16 is the deadline. If you haven’t done so already, please complete this form and return it to Mr. John Naeher. A photograph can also be e-mailed directly to jnaeher@kingsmen.org. (Please choose one photo for the program. Only e-mailed photographs will be included).
If you included a veteran in the program last year and would like to include their information again, please let Mr. Naeher know at jnaeher@kingsmen.org. You do not have to resend another form or photo, however, please indicate the name of the veteran and the name(s) and grade(s) of your children in your e-mail.
