Maria started teaching at CHS in the fall of 2008. She teaches Kindergarten.

Maria and her husband, who is a doctor, were missionaries in Kenya and Uganda for seven years. She received a B.S. from the College of Charleston and received a Masters in Education from Sacred Heart University. Maria has 4 children, two of whom attend CHS.

“It gives me joy to teach young children who come to Kindergarten filled with so much natural curiosity and excitement for learning. I desire to nurture their love of learning and help each child reach their full potential. I am thankful to be able to guide our youngest students to grow in their love and understanding of the Lord, His Word and His creation.”
