Karl Nielsen rejoins the CHS faculty in the fall of 2011. He was previously the Upper School Principal & a math teacher at CHS from 2003-2007.
He is returning to Christian Heritage School as an Upper School Math teacher after spending four years as a missionary in Papua New Guinea. At Numonohi Christian Academy he served, at various times, as high school principal, vice principal and high school math teacher.
Karl received a Business/Economics degree from Wheaton College and then received a Masters Degree in Mathematics Education from Nova Southeastern University. Karl and his wife Kristen have two daughters attending CHS. Rachel is in 2nd grade and Emily in 4th grade.
Returning to CHS is a tremendous pleasure for Karl because of the joy it is to work with a group of professionals committed to academic excellence that can only exist when built on the foundation of knowing Christ. For these same reasons, he is pleased to partner with CHS to educate his children. Additionally, he considers it a privilege to work with many students who are honestly pursuing Christ and seek to bring him glory.
