Mr. Hayes joined the CHS community in July, 2009. He serves as the Principal of the Lower School.

After a brief career in finance and television, Alan started his career in education at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, NY, as a middle school math teacher. He previously served as Math Coach at Rippowam Middle School in Stamford, CT. Alan received a B.S. in Finance from Seton Hall University, an M.A. in Elementary Education at Fairfield University, and then received a Sixth Year Degree in Administration and Supervision at Sacred Heart University.

Alan and his wife, Jacqueline, have two children, one who is a current CHS student.
