Mr. Brett Flowers has been with CHS since 2007. He teaches Instrumental Music and is the Director of Bands for students grades 4 through 12. Mr. Flowers also teaches High School electives in music history and music theory and maintains his own private studio of saxophone and clarinet students.
Prior to his appointment at Christian Heritage School, he served as Director of Bands at the elementary and middle school level in the Andover (MA) Public Schools. In addition, Mr. Flowers was Instructor of Saxophone and Woodwind Methods at Gordon College. Mr. Flowers’ first experience as a music educator was at Philadelphia-Montgomery Christian Academy, where he was an Assistant Director of Bands.
Mr. Flowers graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Gordon College. He also holds his Master of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from the Boyer College of Music at Temple University.
Brett is married to Jessica (Dudics) Flowers, a CHS alumnus from the class of 1999. Brett, Jessica, and their daughter are thrilled to be a part of the CHS family. Brett is grateful and honored to serve students at an institution that offers an education of academic rigor and spiritual wholeness.
