Lindy Conlan has been at CHS since 2001. She is a first grade teacher.

She previously taught two years at Eagle Hill Southport working with children with different learning and behavioral needs. Lindy has also taught internationally. She taught first grade for eight years at the American School in Doha, Qatar. She taught first grade for two years at the International School of Islamabad, Pakistan. She taught for three years at the American School of Kuwait teaching both first and second grade. In addition, she was a permanent substitute for two years at the American School of Paris.

Lindy received her undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Southern Connecticut State University. She received her Master’s degree from Southern CT State University in Early Childhood Education.

Lindy and her husband, Bob, have two sons, one of whom is a CHS graduate.

Working at CHS has been a great experience for Lindy because God is present in this school. Though her desire has always been to go back overseas, it is evident that God has her where He wants her for now. This is the best job she has had, and she loves being in a school where she can grow in her walk with the Lord. She loves working with children who are actively seeking to honor and please the Lord. She also loves the interaction with parents who pray daily for her class.
