Lisa Avery has been serving at CHS since 2003. She teaches 7th, and 8th grade Bible, in addition to High School Bible electives. She previously taught elementary physical education.

She received a B.S. in Biblical and Jewish Studies from Philadelphia Biblical University. Lisa currently resides in Bethel, CT, and frequently visits her parents who are serving as missionaries in Vienna, Austria.

Working at CHS has been a great experience for Lisa because she has been able to cultivate an appreciation of Old Testament studies and archaeology in the lives of the students.

In a world where many view teaching as a career or occupation, Lisa is grateful to work at CHS where Christ-likeness is the focus of the community.
