School bus service is provided free of charge for residents of the Town of Trumbull. Parents can specify if they want their child(ren) to ride the bus both ways or only one way (morning pick up or afternoon drop off). It takes approximately one week for this busing service to be arranged. For more information and a registration form, please on the link to the right or contact Mrs. Kim Clark in the Main Office at 203.261.6230 ext. 500 or kclark@kingsmen.org.
CHS has a contract with B&B Transportation to provide busing for students who do not reside in Trumbull. During the 2008-2009 school year, buses traveled north on the Merritt Parkway beginning at Exit 38 and picked up students at the various commuter lots right off the exit ramps. If there is sufficient interest this year, we may also send buses along the Merritt to New Haven, or up Route 25 to Newtown. The number of routes and buses will be determined solely by family interest, and there is an additional fee for this service. For routes and general information, please contact Mrs. Deb Scudder in the Main Office at 203.261.6230 ext. 501 or dscudder@kingsmen.org. For questions regarding costs or billing, please contact Mrs. Silvia Lawlor in the Finance Office at 203.261.6230 ext. 511 or slawlor@kingsmen.org To indicate your interest in this service, please click on the registration form link to the right.
CHS students come from over 40 different communities and carpooling is encouraged! A family phone directory is published in September and given to each family. Please feel free to use this directory to call other CHS families to arrange carpooling. Parent Teacher League (PTL) representatives and buddy families are excellent resources to help facilitate logistics.
