The purpose of CHS admissions testing is to make certain that our school's academic program is a good match for applying students, and also to determine placement of Upper School students into levels of courses. Our test administrators provide students with pencils, beverages and snacks as well as breaks to stretch and rest. Please be assured it is our desire for applicants to do their very best and we do all we can to ensure comfort and confidence! An Application Form and Application Fee need to be received by the Admissions Office before candidates for grades K-4 are tested. Grades 5-12 register online for testing.
Two individual appointments are scheduled through the Admissions Office beginning in late February. Call Admissions for appointment times.
Testing is scheduled over three days: Saturday, May 19, 2012 (part 1) at 8:30 a.m. and Monday, May 21, 2012 (part 2) at 3:00 p.m., plus an individual appointment

Entrance testing for all students applying to grades 5 through 12 is done using the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE). The ISEE is administered at Christian Heritage School (site code 070796) at 8:30 a.m. on November 19, 2011, March 10, 2012 and May 19, 2012. Please click here to register for testing.
The ISEE is administered at other schools throughout southern CT and all over the world. For test dates, locations, and other information, please visit the ISEE Test Site (above). High School applicants also have the option to submit current scores from the SSAT, PSAT or Stanford Achievement Test or others. Please talk to the Admissions Director for details.
Final decisions regarding acceptance will be made only after all application file items are received and evaluated by the Admissions Committee. Since CHS is unable to provide quality educational experiences for children with learning disabilities, serious emotional or social problems, or severe handicaps, careful consideration is given to each applicant to make certain that the program is a good match for the applicant's needs. CHS admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration or its educational policies, admissions policies, tuition assistance program, athletic, or other school administered programs.
If you have any questions or need additional information about admissions testing, please contact Mrs. Martha Olson, Director of Admissions, at 203.261.6230 ext. 555 or molson@kingmen.org.
